Summary Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative
Part-Time Tuition & Family Communications Specialist to support two essential areas of our program:
- Tuition Management – Utilizing the Procare Software app to manage and collect monthly tuition payments from families.
- Family-Focused Social Media & Digital Content – Creating and posting helpful, age-appropriate content for parents of children ages 3–5, both for enrolled families and the wider community.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to support families while also engaging creatively with parent education and early childhood topics.
Duties Key Responsibilities
Tuition & Administrative Support
- Utilize the Procare app to:
- Set up and manage monthly tuition invoices
- Monitor payments and follow up on outstanding balances professionally and respectfully
- Communicate clearly with families regarding billing questions or reminders
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of family financial records
- Coordinate with leadership regarding tuition schedules and reporting needs
Social Media & Family Engagement
- Create and schedule social media posts geared toward parents and caregivers of children ages 3–5
- Develop content that includes:
- Parenting tips
- Early learning and kindergarten-readiness tips
- Social-emotional development guidance
- Fine motor, gross motor, and early literacy support
- Age-appropriate trends, activities, and resources
- Ensure all content is:
- Family-friendly, culturally respectful, and developmentally appropriate
- Informative and supportive rather than promotional
- Aligned with early childhood best practices
- Support a positive online presence that strengthens relationships with enrolled families and the broader community
Requirements Qualifications
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Comfort working with families around tuition and billing matters
- Experience creating social media or digital content, preferably related to:
- Parenting
- Early childhood education
- Family engagement
- Understanding of child development for ages 3–5
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet monthly deadlines
- Professional, discreet, and family-centered approach
Nice To Haves Preferred Skills
- Background in early childhood education, family services, or communications
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Canva)
- Culturally responsive communication skills
- Experience balancing administrative and creative responsibilities
- Experience using Procare or similar childcare management/billing platforms (preferred)
