Position Summary

The Mobile Solutions Project Manager drives the successful delivery of Mobile Sterile Processing Department (Mobile SPD) projects across domestic and international locations, ensuring every initiative meets the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and financial performance. You will lead multiple projects simultaneously, championing customer satisfaction and representing STERIS in critical jobsite decisions that shape daily operations and future success. As a trusted leader, you will mentor and develop new Mobile Solutions associate project managers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. This position demands strategic thinking, decisive action, and a relentless commitment to operational and customer success. This role requires nationwide, overnight travel, up to 60%, and international, overnight travel, up to 10%. 

What You Will Do as a Mobile Solutions Project Manager

  • Lead Mobile SPD projects from contract execution through customer handoff and closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and drive satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Oversee commissioning and decommissioning activities in collaboration with the Mobile Solutions Installation Specialist team.
  • Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and manage scope, schedule, and cost changes using approved processes.
  • Track and report financial performance for each project, ensuring alignment with budget and organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate logistics for delivery and pickup of Mobile Solutions fleet assets with approved vendors.
  • Organize and lead internal and external kickoff calls, progress meetings, and jobsite walkthroughs to ensure project success.
  • Perform risk management and implement corrective actions to minimize project risks and maintain quality standards.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, issue trackers, and performance reports.
  • Collaborate with leadership, product managers, sales, and service teams to align project execution with strategic goals.
  • Mentor and train new associate project managers, providing guidance and oversight to support their development.
  • Represent Mobile Solutions at trade shows, corporate meetings, and healthcare industry events to promote STERIS solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with the Mobile Solutions Quality Management System.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation by coordinating with internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Enhance department reputation by identifying opportunities to add value and implementing best practices across projects.

The Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of proven working experience in construction/field service/project management sector OR High School Diploma and 10 years of proven working experience in construction/field service/project management sector
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience with Siebel a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare/SPD a plus.

Pay range for this opportunity is $90,737.50 - $117,425.00.  This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
