Job Title: Oncology Infusion Pharmacy ManagerJob Description We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to manage and staff the Outpatient Infusion Pharmacy. This role focuses on overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting a team of pharmacists and technicians in a busy infusion setting. Responsibilities + Manage day-to-day operations of the outpatient infusion pharmacy. + Staff as needed to support patient care and workflow. + Oversee IV compounding and chemotherapy preparation. + Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. + Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient care. + Utilize Epic for pharmacy information management and Pyxis for automation. Essential Skills + Pharmacy technician certification + PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited program + Strong background in IV compounding and chemotherapy + Active pharmacist license in Virginia Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior experience in a busy infusion or hospital pharmacy setting is highly preferred Work Environment The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The pharmacy operates from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. There is no requirement for on-call or weekend coverage. The team consists of 2-3 pharmacists and 3 technicians, with no PRN staff. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fredericksburg, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $67.34 - $73.00/hr.
