Job Description
Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is seeking a **Loss Time Adjuster** to join their team. As a Loss Time Adjuster, you will be part of the claims department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills, effective communication skills, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

**Location: Remote**
**Contact: 2 Months (extension possible)**
**Pay Range: $32 - $35 per hour (based on experience)**
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage indemnity claims by investigating, evaluating, and determining compensability for work-related injury and disease claims.
+ Establish action plans to manage medical and indemnity benefits associated with claims to their most cost-effective conclusion.
+ Conduct interviews with involved parties to gather facts and consider all elements of the claim prior to issuing a decision.
+ Collaborate with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to facilitate timely return to work.
+ Evaluate and negotiate claim settlements utilizing human relation skills and technical knowledge.
**What's Needed?**
+ 2+ years of experience as a lost time adjuster, preferably handling claims in North Carolina and/or South Carolina.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
+ Strong time management and organizational skills.
+ Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Ability to analyze reports and adjust claim strategies as needed.
