Job Description

The Logistics Food Service Driver supports the operations team in running successful events, markets, and food service initiatives within the location. The Logistics Food Service Driver supports and carries out set up, transporting equipment, food, or other supplies to the food service location, serving guests during events, and breaking down/ cleaning up after an event.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and support catering events, campus food service equipment, Replenish Food and Beverage products during events, in markets 
• Load/unload, transport and deliver food and beverage with all vital supplies and equipment.
• Set up tables, canopies, trash, recycling, buffet lines and other event equipment as requested in event order
• Stocks product to par levels and maintains accurate documentation of product levels
• Report sales, waste, customer concerns, and/or machine and vehicle malfunctions daily
• Maintain, warehouse, vehicle, inventory, services, and vehicle and equipment
• Performs all job duties in a safe manner by adhering to all driving regulations, company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain appearance, cleanliness, and organization of food service areas at all times
• Break down and clean area after the conclusion of the events and return equipment to accurate storage
• Minor preparation of food items, and beverages, using and caring for kitchen equipment
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation, food handling, storage and logs
• Maintain garbage collection site and floor areas in a neat and sanitary fashion
• Perform duties and support as needed across other locations and departments
• Support with onboarding new drivers and adhering to driving policies.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds and extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

•    Previous customer service experience preferred
•    Previous catering experience preferred
•    Demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision
•    Must follow the required dress code as assigned 
•    Must be available to work event-based hours
•    Must be able to complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required

• Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude towards customers, clients, and co-workers
• Will need to assist in heavy lifting and large service equiptment transportation
