We are seeking a kind, patient, and experienced caregiver to provide respite care for a child with Autism. The ideal candidate will be dependable, and comfortable supporting daily routines in a calm, structured environment. Experience working with Autistic children or individuals with developmental disabilities. Assisting with daily routines & providing personal care. Offering companionship and support. * 4-hour shift — Friday OR Saturday

• 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (family is flexible on which day)

Responsibilities

• Follow the client's care plan prepared by our registered nurse.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations.
• Report client changes in condition to the agency RN / Director of Clinical Services

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• A CNA license, or...
• HHA Certificate (minimum 40 hours) or ...
• the ability to pass an HHA competency exam and demonstrate all required skills.
• Minimum ONE year experience as a CNA or HHA.
• Meet AHCA's requirements for home health agency employment.
