About the Role
As a virtual educator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring students receive engaging and effective instruction, even when an in-person teacher is unavailable. You'll have access to an educator portal where you can select available teaching assignments that align with your certification and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver live, interactive virtual instruction in Earth Science to middle or high school students.
Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and learning objectives.
Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and track performance to ensure academic success.
Utilize creative teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
Maintain clear and professional communication with students, school staff, and support teams.
Requirements:
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Valid New York State professional teaching license in Earth Science.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Reliable laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and high-speed internet connection.
Ability to complete a virtual teaching demonstration and pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
Prior online teaching experience is a plus but not required.
