We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Setter to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tile laying and a variety of related skills, ensuring high-quality installations in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a commitment to craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency while working on various projects. You must have your own hand tools and PPE. You must also have reliable transportation. You must also have a valid Drivers license and pass a Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, ensuring precise alignment and aesthetic appeal.
Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives.
Lay tiles in accordance with design specifications, patterns, and layouts.
Install various types of tiles including ceramic, porcelain, glass, and stone.
Perform grout application and sealing to ensure durability and water resistance.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition; report any issues as necessary.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Proficiency in tile laying with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Familiarity with Bluebeam software for project planning and documentation is a plus.
Skills in concrete forming and masonry work will be advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 60 per week
