Position Description: The Laboratory of Dr. Zhao-Hui (Joe) Song in the School of Medicine at the University of Louisville
has a temporary part-time research assistant position at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. This position will assist in pharmacological experiments studying the mechanisms of actions and potential therapeutic effects of cannabidiol (CBD) and other cannabinoids.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Assistant will assist in ordering lab supplies and maintain lab operations.
- Assist in experiments using both cell culture and animal models, assist in collecting data and perform routine data analysis under the supervision of principal investigator.
- Assist in search of scientific literature and prepare manuscripts for publications.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a related field such as psychology and neuroscience.

- Organized - manages time effectively, keeps tasks appropriately prioritized.
- Teamwork - ability to work with others.
