Job Title: Technical WriterJob Description We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer with proven experience in producing technical publications for F15 maintenance procedures. This role requires a candidate who can effectively communicate complex technical information and has a deep understanding of aviation systems. Responsibilities + Develop, analyze, collect, and store various system support technical data elements and specifications for evaluation. + Assist in making recommendations on product supportability and establishing product supportability operational maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems. + Identify and analyze logistics support candidates from product definition and develop logistics support analysis records and reports. + Determine spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for a single customer and contract type. + Participate in preparing technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/components. + Review aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability. Essential Skills + Technical writing experience, specifically in maintenance procedures for F15. + Proficiency in authoring technical publications and maintenance procedures. + Knowledge of avionics, particularly related to F15, Pratt & Whitney 220 or 229, and GE F110 or 129 engines. + Strong writing skills and familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to support system support technical data elements and specifications evaluation. + Experience in logistics support analysis and determining spares provisioning requirements. Work Environment This position is an office/desk job located in Fort Walton Beach (FWB). The role involves working in a structured environment focused on technical writing and documentation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fort Walton Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
