Job Description

Seeking a hands-on Technical Product Owner with strong experience in Python, PySpark, AWS , and deep domain knowledge of Healthcare Payer systems .

The TPO will drive data product development, define backlog priorities, and work with engineering teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business needs into technical user stories and product requirements
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to build data pipelines on AWS
• Ensure alignment with healthcare compliance (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7)
• Lead Agile ceremonies and support timely delivery of features
• Analyze feedback and improve product functionality

Must-Have Skills

• Python, PySpark, SQL
• AWS (Glue, Lambda, EMR, S3, Athena)
• Strong Healthcare Payer experience (EDI 837/834, claims, eligibility)
• Agile/Scrum, stakeholder management
• HIPAA, FHIR, HL7 knowledge

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with EHR/EMR
• JIRA, Confluence, Git, CI/CD
• Data governance and security in healthcare
