Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide online instruction and support to K-12 students in an Iowa school district. This is a fully remote role, allowing you to teach from anywhere within the state while using innovative technology to engage and support students with diverse learning needs.

About the Role
As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you'll deliver personalized instruction, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborate with school staff and families—all within a dynamic virtual learning environment. You'll also have access to digital teaching resources and a dedicated support team to ensure a smooth and effective online teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities
Provide engaging virtual instruction to K-12 students using a secure online platform.
Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring students receive personalized support tailored to their needs.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt lesson plans as necessary.
Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to monitor student growth and development.
Utilize interactive digital tools and resources to enhance the learning experience.

Qualifications
Master's degree in Special Education.
Active Iowa state licensure as a Special Education Teacher.
At least two years of experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
