Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and roofing, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

• Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground mounts
  
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installations
  
• Perform electrical work including high voltage and low voltage connections in accordance with NEC standards
  
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and trenchers safely and effectively during installation processes
  
• Conduct fixture installations and ensure all components are securely mounted
  
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols
  
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or testing phases
  

Requirements

• Previous experience as a solar installer or in a similar role is preferred
  
• Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations
  
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents related to solar installations
  
• Experience with roofing techniques is advantageous
  
• Knowledge of plumbing systems may be beneficial for integrated installations
  
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions
