Description: Lockheed Martin MFC is seeking a Software Engineering intern to support Engineering and Technology (E&T) business unit within the Software Engineering group. This role will be reporting to the Archbald, PA site.
In this role, you will be engaging with software development, supporting system integration, testing, and preparing engineering documentation. You will also work along-side engineering staff to develop solutions for nuclear safety systems and/or precision guided systems.
Basic Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree, or similar.
Coursework or practical experience with C /C++.
Coursework or experience reading schematics, debugging, or integrating software applications with embedded hardware, etc.
Candidate must be a US citizen
Desired Skills: Coursework or practical experience with Computer Architecture, microprocessors, microcontrollers, and/or digital design.
Coursework or practical experience with Object Oriented programming / design (OOD).
Coursework or practical experience with Java / Python.
Coursework or practical experience with FPGA design.
Knowledge of agile design.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
