In the Software Engineer Intern position, you’ll collaborate with a talented team of engineers and architects to develop innovative solutions that solve real-world customer problems. What You’ll Do And Impact
- Design and deliver software solutions that solve real customer problems while driving strategic business outcomes.
- Assist with developing applications enhanced using AI, including: chatbots, image-based tools, and automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and test scalable software solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tooling.
- Contribute to creative solutions for business challenges and technical ownership of applications.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.
Experience
- Enrolled in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering degree program, with a graduation of December of '27 or later.
- Experience with one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#).
- Demonstrated basic knowledge of databases and SQL, enabling effective handling of data storage and retrieval tasks.
- Ability to work part time (15-20 hours) during the school year and full time (40 hours) during the summer.
Additional Items Of Interest
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript (Node.js/React), or C#, and familiarity with MVC frameworks.
- Exposure to or interest in AI and machine learning tools (e.g., OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face models, LangChain).
- Familiarity with Git, version control systems, and agile software development practices.
- Prior intership or academic projects involving AI or full-stack development.
