-Departmental Leadership: Manage and mentor a talented team of CPAs and junior accountants.
-Career Longevity: Join an expanding organization where leadership is valued and growth is built into the culture.
-Competitive Compensation: Rewarding excellence, precision, and leadership.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all operations of the Tax Department.

  • Develop and implement strategic tax policies, planning, and forecasting initiatives.

  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff across multiple tax functions.

  • Conduct and review corporate, personal, and trust tax filings for high-net-worth clients.

  • Approve and sign off on all final tax filings and amendments.

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state tax laws and internal company policies.

  • Oversee integration of tax data with company Financial Plans (FPs).

  • Build and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tax operations.

  • Maintain direct communication with executives and clients on strategic financial matters.

  • Drive innovation and efficiency in tax workflow and reporting systems.

Core Competencies

Strategic Tax Leadership

  • 8+ years of professional tax experience in both preparation and strategy.

  • Proven experience leading a team of tax professionals.

  • Advanced knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust taxation.

  • Strong understanding of tax law application and amendment processes.

Communication & Executive Presence

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Capable of translating complex tax concepts into clear, actionable insights for clients and executives.

  • Professional, positive, and solutions-driven demeanor.
