What You'll Do

• Protect and ensure the safety of hotel guests, employees, and property
• Conduct proactive foot patrols to deter and detect any unusual or suspicious activity
• Monitor security cameras and respond swiftly and professionally to incidents
• Maintain clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Provide exceptional customer service — you’re often the first friendly face guests see
• Enforce safety and security protocols, and serve as an ambassador for Sheepdog's values

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required by state law)
• Clean criminal background (required for state security registration)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in high-pressure situations
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Prior security or related experience is a plus,  but we’re happy to train motivated individuals!
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule: 8-hour overnight shifts
• Expected Hours: ~40 per week
• Work Location: On-site at a hotel (in person)
