• We are hiring a full-time Resident Driver / Nurse Aide-CNA who will also serve as a Resident Driver, working primarily Monday through Friday. This is a hybrid role that will work a variable schedule, with days and afternoons, 30-40 hours per week. Shifts may range from 4 hours to 12 hours.
• S eeking a d edicated, compassionate  Resident Driver / Nurse Aide-CNA who will  provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters and priests in Enfield, CT. This position will also involve driving a company vehicle to transport elderly Sisters and Priests to various appointments in the Enfield area.

• The hourly pay rate for this position is $17.25 - $23.75 for Nurse Aides and CNAs. **Wage will be determined based on factors such as CNA certification, the candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity.**

Responsibilities:

• The Resident Driver / Nurse Aide-CNA provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care. Our Nurse aides are responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure quality care. This position also assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.
• The Resident Driver / Nurse Aide-CNA transports residents to and from hospitals, medical offices, rehabilitation centers, and the convent in a safe and professional manner. This position also provides transportation services to residents in need of transportation for non-medical services. The Resident Driver will also perform duties similar to a Nurse Aide and provide restorative and enrichment support as well.

Education and Experience:

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS, but not required.
• Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required. 
• Must possess a valid state driver's license in good standing.
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience in the transport of residents is preferred.
