R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Senior Research Associate in San Diego, CA.
Your main responsibilities as a Senior Research Associate :
Develop and implement cell-based assays to support the identification, optimization, and characterization of novel compounds.
Develop and construct cell lines and tools for mechanism of action (MoA) studies.
Design and execute experiments using expertise in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry and assay development to support MoA studies
Execute routine assays in a consistent and timely manner
Document, analyze, and present data in an organized and timely manner
What we are looking for in a Senior Research Associate:
Bachelor s degree in biology or related disciplines with 2+ year of relevant experience, or Master s degree with 1+ year of experience
Excellent sterile technique in mammalian cell culture with at least 1 year of experience is required.
Experience with transfection, lentiviral transduction, CRISPR knockouts, and shRNA knockdowns is a plus.
Deep understanding with hands-on assay development or troubleshooting experience in at least one of the following techniques:
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and GraphPad Prism.
