Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QE Analyst to join our Partner's team at a leading financial institution. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in testing and validating commercial and consumer deposit applications , ensuring the integrity, performance, and security of mission-critical banking systems.



Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This position is not open to corp-to-corp, subcontractor or independent consulting arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for deposit-related applications (e.g., account opening, transaction processing, interest calculation, overdraft protection).
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform end-to-end testing across multiple platforms (web, mobile, backend services).
• Validate data integrity and transaction accuracy across commercial and consumer deposit workflows.
• Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing for new releases and patches.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal audit standards .
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of QA/QE experience in financial services , preferably with a focus on deposit systems .
• Strong understanding of commercial and consumer banking products , including checking, savings, CDs, and money market accounts.
• Experience with core banking platforms (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry, Temenos, Finastra).
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman, Cucumber).
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation .
• Knowledge of API testing , RESTful services, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure).
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
• Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, SOX).
