FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities as a Shingle installer: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Properly fasten shingles to roof
• Install necessary equipment through the roof according to home's order (i.e. furnace stack)
• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned
• Keeps area neat and clean
• Stock materials as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities as a Vinyl Siding installer: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Fasten J-blocks to home's exterior
• Properly fasten siding according to each home's order
• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned
• Keeps area neat and clean
• Stock materials as needed

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
