We are currently looking for.: 

Production Planner

Main responsibilities: 

• Plan the schedules of production according to demand and ensure that all relevant persons receive the production planning.
• Coordinating production operations in accordance with material, resources, and equipment availability.
• Collaborates with sales, materials planning, and production departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve the customer needs.
• Evaluating purchase orders to create suitable production schedules.
• Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production and informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
• Provide delivery commitments.
• Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the Material planning.
• Maintain finished goods inventory at target levels.
• Coordinate the transfer of the new project.
• Create, maintain and release master data in SAP.
• Performs other related duties, as required.

Requirements and skills: 

• Bachelor's degree in Inventory Management, Logistics or a related field preferred
• 4 years of experience in production planning, inventory management, or a related position.
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools and ERP systems (in particular SAP).
• Ability to manage time effectively. 
• Excellent communication skills. 
• Good organizational skills. 
• Ability to solve complex problems. 
• Should work in a team as well as independently. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
