Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support on general laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Participate in investigations related to equipment, test methods, or quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement of laboratory processes.
- Assist in onboarding and training of associates.
- Maintain good laboratory and documentation practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable BD policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.
Experience Required
- 0–2 years of engineering or technical experience, preferably in medical devices.
- Experience using small hand tools.
- Working knowledge of the operation of mechanical measurement equipment (e.g., Instron) is desirable.
Skills & Certifications
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize statistical tools and perform computer analysis.
Eligibilities & qualifications
- A BS degree in engineering is desirable (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
- Some form of technical training (e.g., college in a science or engineering background, technical school, or lab environment experience).
- Onsite presence required 5 days a week.
