Occupational Therapist (OT) - School-Based Role
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services to students across two school sites. This role involves conducting evaluations, delivering therapy (both direct and consultative), and documenting services in alignment with individualized plans of care.
Position Details
+ Modality: Occupational Therapist
+ Grade Levels: PreK-Transition (ages 3-22)
+ Caseload:
+ Servicing district students
+ Supporting STAR and FALP programs
+ Mix of consult and direct therapy models
+ Includes students from specialized programs
Schedule
+ Start Date: ASAP
+ End Date: End of School Year
+ Weekly Hours:
+ 2 days/week at one school site (follows district schedule)
+ 3 days/week at another site (8:15 AM - 3:15 PM, 30-min unpaid break)
+ Typical Daily Hours:
+ Site 1: Approx. 7:30/7:45 AM - 2:50 PM
+ Site 2: 8:15 AM - 3:15 PM
+ Breaks: 30-minute unpaid daily break
Minimum Requirements
+ Current OT licensure in the state of practice
+ 1+ year of professional OT experience preferred
+ Compliance with professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray as applicable)
+ Current health certificate (if required by contract or state)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
