Local Underground Utility Contractor seeking to employ a Mechanic with experience in performing regular preventable maintenance and help troubleshoot/repair electrical, ignition, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and gas/diesel engines. Welding/fabricator experience is a plus.
A Diesel/Gas Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles and machinery. Key tasks include diagnosing engine issues, performing routine maintenance like oil changes and filter replacements, and repairing systems such as brakes, steering, transmissions, and fuel systems. They use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems and ensure vehicles comply with safety and industry standards.
