Some functions of what you would do as a Hospice Massage Therapist
- Conduct initial evaluation, assessing & identifying patient’s needs.
- Provides comfort touch massage therapy services to patients in accordance with physician’s orders and the interdisciplinary group (IDG) plan of care with a focus on a hospice and palliative care approach.
- Completes and submits accurate and timely documentation of massage therapy services provided.
A few must-haves for this position:
- Successful completion of post secondary course of study from an accredited/licensed school for Massage Therapy
- One year of Massage Therapy experience required.
- Hospice massage therapy experience preferred.
- Able to travel within a geographic area serviced by office. Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required.
- CPR Certification required.
