Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 19and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.    Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.

Under the general direction of the Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, the Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), works in Medical Services, Integrated Care & Complex Patient Populations Division. The MFT diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples and family systems, the scope of the applicable Business and Professions Code(s), and license. Incumbents shall refer incarcerated patients to other licensed health care professionals in accordance with standardized procedures. Travel to other CDCR adult institutions may be required.

California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is seeking California-licensed clinical social workers to join our Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDT).  This newly-created statewide program is designed to provide integrated, specialized care to patients with a history of substance use who require additional medical assistance.   ISUDT staff are committed to providing optimal care, promoting patients’ successful reintegration into society, and reducing recidivism.
