Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Multi-spindle CNC machines to ensure efficient production.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Adjust machine controls to optimize performance and adhere to specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from standards and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the machining process, such as tool wear or material irregularities.
• Collaborate with team members, including engineers and supervisors, to optimize production processes and achieve production goals.
• Follow established safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Document production activities, including machine settings, tool changes, and quality control measurements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in machining is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience as a Machinist or Machine Operator.
• Strong knowledge of machining principles, techniques, and tools.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to operate precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Experience with Multi-spindle CNC machines.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and machine maintenance

• OT Hours are paid at time and a half. If you work on a Sunday you are guaranteed double time!!
