$35-$70+ Per Hour Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa of Rolling Meadows is currently seeking Licensed Massage Therapists. We are currently searching for candidates that are local to the area and is looking for a long term role in a stable and positive environment with opportunity for growth. You are a critical link in ensuring that our customers' experience in our spa is nothing short of exceptional! Your expertise in massage therapy and customer healing/relaxation will make you an important part of our team. Our staff will book your appointments and you will be provided with all the supplies you need to be extremely successful!
Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is a national franchise that specializes in massage, facial, and hair removal services. With over 450 locations, the Hand & Stone brand is a leader in the membership-based spa service industry.
Job Responsibilities: - Design specific sessions based on client's individual needs
- Promote the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis
- Create excellent experience for members/guests through friendly and helpful attitude
- Generate new clientele through promoting member referrals and memberships
- Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas
Job Requirements: - Must adhere to state licensing laws and regulations
- Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, spa management and staff
- Must carry liability insurance
- Knowledge of swedish massage required
- Knowledge of other various modalities preferred (Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue).
- Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork
