About the Role:

RXR Sports is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Business Development Manager to support our growing Business Development team. This role is ideal for an individual with 1-2 years of experience in a talent agency, on the brand side or within the creator economy, who is eager to learn and contribute to all aspects of business development. You will play a crucial role in supporting senior team members, managing client relationships, and even taking the lead on certain deals and negotiations. Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Development team in all day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives across our main business pillars (brand partnerships, original content, content monetization & speaking engagements)
  • Conduct thorough market research into various industries, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential brand partners.
  • Support brand outreach efforts, including identifying and contacting potential leads.
  • Assist in preparing for and attending industry events and trade shows to represent RXR Sports and network with potential clients.
  • Help manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs and priorities are met
  • Support the creation of sales and marketing materials, including pitch decks, proposals, and presentations.
  • Maintain and organize BD-related information and databases.
  • Collaborate closely with the client management team to ensure seamless transitions and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within a talent/sports agency, brand side (CPG, DTC, etc.), or within the creator economy.
  • A passion for sports and entertainment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets & Slides), Pitch and familiarity with CRM systems (experience with Salesforce & Notion is a plus).
  • Must be based in New York and able to work from our Brooklyn office.

  • Competitive base salary range: $75,000 - $85,000
