SUMMARY
Axillon Aerospace is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Technician to provide both on-site and remote technical support across our manufacturing facilities. This position offers hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, system maintenance, and end-user support within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will help ensure reliable system performance that directly supports day-to-day manufacturing and business operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote assistance to users; troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to minimize production downtime.
• System Maintenance: Install, configure, and update operating systems, business applications, and security software used in manufacturing and office environments.
• Hardware Setup: Prepare and deploy desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and production-related equipment for new employees or system upgrades.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of support requests, resolutions, and system changes.
• User Training: Assist staff with basic IT procedures, equipment usage, and best practices.
• Security Support: Help manage software and system updates, password policies, and general cybersecurity awareness.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Foundational understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience providing both on-site and remote support preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and standard business applications (Microsoft 365, Teams, etc.).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Works well independently and collaboratively within a team.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:

• At least 1-2yrs Tier 1 support experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Fundamentals are preferred.
