Overview: The LPN/Scheduler assists the Endoscopy Team with the care of the endoscopy patients. Primary focus will be scheduling the patient's endoscopy procedures and teaching the patients or their significant other regarding preparation and procedural activities. Responsibilities: Schedules patients for procedures in Digestive Health Center Collaborates with other departments to provide interdisciplinary care for patients Individualizes care based on procedure, patient population and available resources Provides procedural teaching for patients and families Schedules Procedures for Digestive Health Institute within OP Time Coordinates care between DHI and referring provider offices Provides Nursing Assessment and Patient Education for scheduled procedures Identifies Patients on Anticoagulation, Diabetic, Opioid medications and implements identified protocol Maintains quality and safety scheduling accuracy within the scheduling office Qualifications: Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), Education: College Diploma: Licensed Practical Nurse (Required), Work Experience: Related field Carle Health Company Overview:

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is $23.36per hour - $39.01per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
