Steel Production Shipping & Receiving Clerk (1701163) $20 – 23 per hour

Medford, OR 

Full Time; Temp-To-Hire

Daily Workflow:

» Receive, inspect, and verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.

» Pickup and deliver materials, load and unload trucks.

» Coordinate and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring all documentation is accurate

» Organize and maintain inventory records, ensuring accuracy and timely updates

» Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any shipping or receiving issues. Coordinate logistics with external shipping companies

» Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move and store products safely

» Perform regular inventory counts and assist in inventory reconciliation

» Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures

» Maintain a clean, organized and safe shipping and receiving area

» Assist with other warehouse duties as needed

We’re Seeking:

» Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setting (Required)

» Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

» Capability to maintain physical activity for extended periods without fatigue

» Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

» Proficiency in using inventory management software and other computer applications

» Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment

» Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required (weighing up to 50-100 pounds.)

» Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment

» Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

» CDL or ability to obtain one and acceptable driving record. 

» Must pass Background Check

Schedule:

» Monday – Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm
