Position Overview:

As a Roofing Service Technician, you will:

  • Perform repairs, installations, and maintenance on clay tile, slate, and copper roofing systems.
  • Assess roof damage and provide accurate recommendations for repair or replacement.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure their roofing needs are met with the highest level of quality and professionalism.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and historical preservation guidelines when applicable.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and diagnose issues with clay tile, slate, and copper roofs.
  • Replace or repair damaged materials with precision and care.
  • Install and maintain flashing, gutters, and other copper components.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete projects on time.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company and OSHA standards.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with clay tile, slate, and copper roofing systems.
  • Strong understanding of roofing techniques, tools, and materials specific to these systems.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Physical ability to perform roofing tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or specifications is a plus.

  • Competitive pay: $25.00 hourly to $35.00 hourly based on skillset and experience.

  • Overtime Pay: Overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek.
