We are looking for a passionate Health and Wellness Coach to join Whitefield Academy, a leading educational institution in Louisville. As a Health and Wellness Coach, you will play a crucial role in promoting and supporting the physical and mental well-being of our students and staff. Your work will be instrumental in creating a healthy and balanced environment conducive to learning and personal growth. You will be involved in designing and implementing wellness programs, providing one-on-one coaching, and fostering a culture of well-being throughout the academy.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive health and wellness programs for students and staff.
• Provide individual coaching sessions to support personal health goals and behavior change.
• Conduct assessments to identify health needs and track progress towards wellness objectives.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and events on topics related to physical and mental well-being.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate wellness initiatives into the overall educational experience.
• Stay current on health trends, research, and best practices in the field of wellness coaching.
• Create resources and materials to educate the community on healthy living practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs through data analysis and feedback.

Requirements:

• Certification in Health Coaching, Wellness Coaching, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering wellness programs.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Knowledge of nutrition, fitness, stress management, and other aspects of holistic health.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals seeking support.
• Excellent organizational skills to plan and coordinate wellness activities.
• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to coaching and counseling.
• Proficiency in using technology for virtual coaching sessions and program management.
