General Handyman : Various Retail & Restaurants in Austin and Surrounding Areas
Schedule : Primarily Night Work
Compensation : Competitive Hourly Pay, Paid Weekly

Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team, specializing in maintenance and repair services for retail and restaurant locations in the Tampa and surrounding areas. This role involves a variety of tasks, from minor repairs to larger maintenance projects. Candidates should have experience in general repairs, light plumbing, and electrical work, along with strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities :

Perform general maintenance and repairs at retail and restaurant locations.

Handle light plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.

Conduct light electrical work, including replacing outlets, switches, and troubleshooting minor issues.

Caulking and sealing to prevent leaks and maintain aesthetics.

Replace ceiling tiles and grid systems as needed.

Repair drywall, including patching, sanding, and painting.

Perform interior and exterior painting as required.

Install, repair, and replace tiles in floors and walls.

Complete both small handyman tasks and larger maintenance projects as assigned.

Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and up to quality standards.

Communicate effectively with management and clients to provide updates on job progress.

Qualifications and Requirements :

Proven experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, or in a related field.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, drywall, painting, tile installation, and general repairs.

Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and job tasks.

Demonstrated knowledge and use of email and phone communications, including various applications.

Must be comfortable working night shifts, with occasional day work.

Reliable transportation to job sites (company van provided).

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and climbing.

Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs., work on ladders, and handle physical labor.

Ability to effectively travel to various client locations.
