Job Description
The Graveyard Cashier/Barista is responsible for creating a positive guest experience by greeting guests, completing their beverage or food orders and efficient cash handling.
Duties:
- Sincerely greet and thank each guest.
- Inform guests of hours/days of operation, all coupons and specials.
- Take guests’ orders efficiently, answering questions and offering suggestions.
- Make various simple food items such as sandwiches.
- Create various coffee beverages, smoothies, and teas.
- Accurate use of the POS system to close checks using a variety of payment methods.
- Balance a bank with a high level of accuracy.
- Complete all side work requirements.
- Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable environment for our guests and team members.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of one year experience as a cashier or barista is preferred.
- Able to operate espresso machine, panini press, microwave, and toaster.
- Able to stand and walk continuously for 8 hrs. shift and repeatedly lift 15 lbs to chest.
- Must be available to work any day of the week on graveyard shift including Holidays.
- Must possess excellent customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
