Description Governance Analyst Location: Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Washington, D.C. (Remote) Schedule: + Weekdays: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM | Up to $92,520 annually + Weekends: Thursday-Monday, 8 AM-5 PM | Up to $99K (LA/DC) or $109K (SF) annually + Type: Full-time, Non-exempt, Primarily Remote (must be within commutable distance to office) About the Role The Governance Analyst II supports the firm's governance and compliance operations, ensuring adherence to internal policies and client outside counsel guidelines. This role works closely with attorneys, operations, and technology teams to manage processes related to conflicts checks, new matter intake, ethical walls, records management, and audit letters. Key Responsibilities + Conduct and analyze conflicts checks for new clients, matters, and personnel. + Support new business intake and maintain accurate data across systems (Intapp, 3E, etc.). + Manage ethical walls, records requests, and audit letter responses. + Advise attorneys on governance policies and compliance requirements. + Prepare reports for senior management and auditors. Requirements Qualifications + 3+ years of experience in law firm governance, conflicts, or records management. + Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. + Proficiency with Intapp, 3E, and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with document management systems a plus. + Bachelor's degree preferred (high school diploma or GED required).
