Overview:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to help drive data-informed decision-making and support strategic financial planning. This position will focus on performance reporting, forecasting, and cost analysis, with an emphasis on improving reporting workflows through automation and visualization. You’ll collaborate across departments to deliver insights that enhance financial transparency and operational efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning initiatives.
• Create and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance, identify trends, and guide decision-making.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to interpret financial data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Streamline recurring reports through automation using Excel, SQL, and Power BI (or similar BI tools).
• Review financial implications of contracts and ensure alignment with internal controls and compliance standards.
• Perform variance analysis and monitor key financial metrics across revenue, expenses, and project costs.
• Deliver reports and insights to leadership in support of strategic and operational goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or equivalent professional experience .
• 3+ years of experience in a financial analysis, budgeting, or cost management role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for financial analysis and data manipulation.
• Experience with Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization ( experience with equivalent tools such as Tableau or Qlik will also be considered ).
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with project budgeting platforms (e.g., Quickbase, Smartsheet, Oracle).
• Experience working in environments with regulatory or compliance reporting requirements.
• Exposure to cost planning and performance monitoring in operational or project-based settings.
