Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Event Safety Staff on an on-call basis. The Event Safety Staff will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of event attendees, staff, and property during various events.

Responsibilities

• Monitor event attendees and premises to prevent unauthorized access and ensure a safe environment.
• Assist in crowd control and management to maintain order during events.
• Provide information and assistance to event attendees as needed.
• Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies that may arise during events.
• Conduct security patrols of the event venue to identify and address any potential security risks.
• Collaborate with event organizers, staff, and local authorities to address security concerns effectively.
• Enforce event policies and regulations to ensure compliance and a safe experience for all attendees.
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or disturbances to the appropriate authorities and supervisors.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance security knowledge and skills.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with event attendees and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• Possession of a guard card is preferred but not required; training will be provided for selected candidates.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Willingness to work on an on-call basis with flexible hours based on event schedules.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Transportation and cell phones are required
