Job Description

LaSalle Network is partnering with a dynamic and growing real estate firm specializing in residential and commercial properties. They are committed to providing exceptional service to their clients and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment for their employees. As they expand, they are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join their finance team.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual with some accounting experience who is looking to grow their career in the real estate industry. The Entry-Level Staff Accountant will work closely with the Senior Accountant and the Controller to ensure the accuracy of financial records, assist in financial reporting and perform various accounting tasks.

Entry-Level Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant data and analysis
  • Help with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant accounting regulations
  • Assist in audits by preparing documentation and providing necessary support
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
Entry-Level Staff Accountant Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Experience in accounting or finance; experience in real estate or property management is a plus
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, or similar) is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
