Duties include: The Echo Technologist/Echocardiographer will work within the Echo/Cardio Dept.

• Assumes responsibility of echocardiographic testing in the cardiovascular department
• Includes but not limited to all 2D echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and stress echo tests.
• Insures proper and economical use of equipment, supplies and other clinical resources employed in the delivery of quality patient care and maintains appropriate records and files

Hours:

Full Time, 40 hrs per week; Some weekend day shifts, 7a-3:30p or 9a-5p (a bit flexible on the weekend shift hours). Also, some call hours are required from end of shift to following morning.

Experience/Requirements:

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent
• Nationally registered as an RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) through CCI or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) through ARDMS.
• Requires 2 years of experience performing echocardiograms, in a Hospital setting preferred.
• CPR required

Salary Range: Minimum 42.66/hour - Maximum 70.36/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
