Diesel Truck Technician/Mechanic job at MalaceHR Tulsa, OK, US

Job Description

Diesel Technician /Mechanic ($25-$32 hr.)

Inspect and perform maintenance/repairs to Department of Transportation regulations and industry standards.
Perform diagnostic inspection and testing sometimes-using computer software.
Perform DOT, PDI, and CPO inspections. Completes and turns in the necessary documents.
Perform Preventative Maintenance including Lube, Oil, Fuel, and Filter(s).
Inspect and repair components of engines, ignition parts, wheel bearings, shock absorbers, brake and air systems, hydraulic systems, suspension systems, oil seals, emissions systems, exhaust systems, generators, distributors, lights, switches, etc.
Inspects low voltage wiring couplers, harnesses, lights, batteries, and charging systems; services adjusts and/or replaces components where necessary.
Maintains a neat and orderly working area.
Perform general trailer repair and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years as a Journeyman Diesel technician.
Technical degree and ASME certifications highly desired.
Karmak Fusion and JPRO experience is a plus.
Must provide own set of tools.
Valid Driver's License.
