CCMS & Associates is searching for 1099 Catastrophe Desk Adjusters licensed in the state of Florida . We are looking to add to our existing roster. Now is the time to join our innovative team!

• Minimum 1 year first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting experience
• Experience in Xactimate and/or Symbility
• Working computer with internet access
• Must demonstrate strong time management and customer service skills
• Experience in reading insurance policies
• Experience in preparing coverage determination letters
• Actively licensed and self-appointed in the state of Florida

• Efficiently handling property insurance claims in the state of Florida
• Investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements from insureds and/or representatives
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation, through well-supported reserve report
• Maintain compliance on an active caseload of claims
• Review applicable coverage forms and endorsements, provide a thorough analysis of coverage and any coverage issues in a well-documented initial report to the client
• Maintain acceptable product quality through compliance with established best practices 

• In-depth knowledge of property insurance coverage and industry standards
• Ability to prepare coverage determination letters efficiently and accurately
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Prompt, reliable, and friendly

• College degree
• AIC or other professional designations
  All candidates must pass a full background check (void in states where prohibited)
