Description The Delivery Driver distributes cannabis flower and marijuana-manufactured products promptly to our customers across the state of Missouri. This role's time is roughly spent by the following time allocation: 70% state-wide deliveries, 10% local deliveries, and 20% onsite work.
Duties and Responsibilities - Delivers high-quality cannabis products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
- Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers.
- Reviews and verifies invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy.
- Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
- Contact customers to confirm delivery details.
- Determines placement of merchandise, follows safety and lifting protocols during deliveries, and conducts safety reviews.
- Maintains delivery logs and records, with a basic understanding of METRC (state Seed-to-Sale tracking program) as it relates to order manifests and order acceptance by customers.
- Collaborate with Logistics Team on delivery routing and scheduling.
- Assists with the maintenance of company vehicles, scheduling service and routing/driving vehicles to service appointments.
- Assists with in-house order fulfillment tasks, such as: stickering labeling, route planning, and order packing.
- Delivers orders to customers, loading and unloading packages at destinations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Maintain a culture of professionalism.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education - Attention to detail is paramount to the role.
- A valid Class E commercial driver’s license
- Demonstrated capability to work in an indirect role with limited supervision.
- Some previous experience in a customer facing role.
- Comfortable driving on the road for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Essential Job Functions - Ability to sit for long periods of time (4+ hours).
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to drive long distances.
- Ability and willingness to drive in inclement weather.
Compensation and Benefits - $20.00 per hour, non-exempt
- Health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, with individual employee premiums covered by the company at 100%.
