Community Sports Manager – Exciting Career Opportunity!

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Community Sports Manager for our client in San Diego/Imperial County, CA . This is an opportunity to work with a mission-driven organization making a real impact in the lives of individuals through inclusive community-based sports programs.

Location: San Diego/Imperial County, CA

Pay: $60,000 - $66,430

Shifts Available: Some evenings and weekends required for events

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and support year-round sports programming, including planning, registration, training, and compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison for regional programs, facility partners, and community stakeholders.
• Recruit and support athletes, Unified Partners, and volunteers, fostering strong community relationships.
• Ensure training and competitions meet organizational standards and drive inclusion-focused outcomes.
• Support seasonal expos, wellness events, and Unified Sports initiatives.
• Oversee logistics including facility use, permits, and equipment management.
• Maintain clear communication with staff, athletes, families, and community partners.
• Contribute to annual work plans, data tracking, and budget management.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in program coordination, event planning, or sports/recreation administration.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with volunteer or staff supervision experience.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with registration platforms like ActiveNet a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
