Job Description

Heritage Avonlea of Olathe, a 55-bed residential care facility, is seeking a CMA for part-time or full-time work for our night shift and weekends, all shifts. Our community assists seniors with all ADLs and passes medication as ordered. Our small and manageable community requires a dedicated, hardworking, and organized staff to manage all resident health care issues. We have 8-hour shifts and have the following openings:

• Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
• Night shift 10:00pm-6:00am.

CMA duties include but are not limited to:

• Assisting Residents with all aspects of daily needs.
• Answering call lights to assist Residents.
• Administer medications to Residents.
• Laundry (Residents' personal laundry).
• Cleaning (common areas, public restrooms).
• Filing Resident paperwork in Resident charts.
• Assist Residents in getting ready for bed.
• Assist Residents in getting up in the morning.
• Assist Residents to the bathroom.
• Be able to use the phone, fax machine, computer for medication administration, and copy machine.
• A friendly and helpful attitude.
