As the Channel Marketing Analyst, Grocery / Specialty Channel, you will be responsible for providing analytical insights, identifying opportunities for growth, and creating presentations to support the initiatives of the company. You will also be responsible for creating scorecards to track and analyze sales performance and identify category trends.

 

This position is Hybrid and can be located at the HQ in Parsippany, N.J. or in Chicago and you will report to the Director of Marketing, Grocery.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the “Chief of Staff” for the Grocery Leadership Team in the sales function for the channel
  • Support the strategic sales agenda for the channel and influence the internal commercial sales team to ensure the right resources and investment levels to win in highly competitive marketplace. 
  • Coordinate and execute the sales internal process and oversee volume forecasts across Ferrero’s largest collective channel
  • Assist in management of annual trade budget and work with shopper marketing team to create channel specific programs to grow Ferrero business
  • Develop and execute new and innovative scorecards to analyze business performance and complete ad hoc requests for the sales and leadership teams
  • Provide actionable insights on performance, trends and opportunities to the team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross functional teams and broker partners
  • Analyze trade spend compared to sales performance and targets
  • Assist Sr. Channel Marketing Manager in volume and trade discussions on a weekly basis ensuring team stays within budget and continues to drive sales
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross functional teams and broker partners
  • Utilize data sources (i.e., IRI, ACN, ShopperSights, Spectra, Retail Link, RSI, EYC, Retail Link, SAP) to analyze the data and create compelling sales stories

Who we are looking for:

  • At least 3 + years’ CPG experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, M.B.A. is a plus
  • Knowledge of IRI, ACN, ShopperSights, Spectra, 81.51, RSI, EYC, and dunnhumby
  • Category management and data analytics experience 
  • Sales experience a plus
  • Strong math, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Detailed oriented with solid planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a proactive and timely manner
  • Ability to generate positive relationships and foster a team environment
  • Strong organizational agility and relationship building a must
  • Good communication skills, including strong writing and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%

Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $84,000 - $112,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
