Gallagher Ford Lincoln is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Elko, Nevada. This role is ideal for a technician that has full-range diagnostic and repair experience. Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance outlined on work orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunctions and complete repairs as needed
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary components
• Save and tag parts as required, especially for warranty or customer requests
• Conduct multi-point inspections and determine additional service needs
• Collaborate with service advisors to update on additional work, repair times, or unneeded services
• Document all work performed and recommendations on the repair order
• Conduct road tests when necessary or assist with vehicle testing
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Participate in continued training to stay current with manufacturer standards

Automotive Service Technician Qualifications * 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred * High school diploma or equivalent * B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair * Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination * Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment * Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies * Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve * Enjoy working in a dynamic environment * Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively * Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications * Valid driver's license and clean driving record Why Join Gallagher Ford Lincoln?

We recently completed a multimillion dollar renovation that included an all new expanded showroom and office space as well as an updated waiting room.
