Job Description
**Aircraft Maintenance Technician at the O'Hare Airport**
Join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing cargo aircrafts, primarily B777's. You will be responsible for performing both on-call and scheduled line maintenance, ensuring the safety and airworthiness of aircraft according to approved technical data and regulations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) on various customers' aircrafts.
+ Conduct routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, returning aircraft to service.
+ Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components.
+ Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components.
+ Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FAR's and manufacturer manuals.
+ Properly document all work performed.
+ Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier's maintenance control center as required.
**Shift**
+ Day shift hours are from 6:00 am to 8:30 pm, and night shift hours on Saturday are from 8:00 pm to 6:30 am.
+ Additional hours may be available on Thursday and Friday, with a strong commitment required for Saturdays.

**Work Environment**
Candidates will primarily work outdoors and will be provided with a vehicle to drive to each aircraft for maintenance. An office located just outside the airport is available for training purposes. Training will be conducted with a team, but once fully trained, candidates will work independently.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $44.00/hr.
